Favorite thing to do on the weekend: hang with my boys. explore towns to walk around and go to coffee shops, eat good food and go to cute little antique shops and go to the beach!

Fun fact about you: I went to college to become an architect and did that for a bit before quitting to open TYR!

Fuck it - do it scared, do it messy, just do it.

Best piece of advice you have ever received: Make sure you take care of yourself and rest when you need to, even if you have to force yourself. Otherwise, you won't have the choice of when, your body will force you.

Do you have a second professional life?: yes, I own and direct a nonprofit, and I am a senior IT manager with 29 years experience.

How would you describe your classes:  a mix of strength training, strength, poses, flexibility, and shifting body weight around while we listen to fun music and have a great time.

Do you have a second professional life?: I teach group Fitness at several different locations. I have been teaching Fitness classes for 15 years. Everything from cycling, HIIT, yoga, Bodypump, senior fitness, Pilates and bootcamp

What song(s) do you put on repeat: I wanna dance with somebody by Whitney Houston. It instantly puts me in a good mood!

Something I could eat everyday forever is: I'd prefer to try something new! I try not to get stuck on specifics! But if I'm forced....sushi!

Fave cocktail (or mocktail): Espresso Martini, Lychee Martini, or Negroni. But I'm more into Tea now.

Guilty pleasure TV show/movie: The Office, GoT, Breaking Bad. I also love A24 and Studio Ghibli films.

ERIKA BERMUDEZ

How would you describe your classes:  My classes are a dynamic fusion of music, rhythm, and purposeful movement. Each session is energizing, fun, and intentionally crafted to build strength, flexibility, and body awareness. Set to upbeat music, we flow through intense, rhythm-driven sequences that challenge the body and refresh the mind. It’s not just a workout—it’s a powerful, feel-good experience that leaves you stronger, centered, and recharged.

Do you have a second professional life?: First and foremost, I’m a mom—my most important role. I also work in radio broadcasting as a Traffic Manager, where I coordinate commercial scheduling and ensure smooth daily operations.

What song(s) do you put on repeat: Music is my heartbeat—I listen to it nonstop, and it’s always playing in the background of my day. My favorite song on repeat is ‘Eres Mi Religión’ by Maná; it never gets old and always speaks to me.

Something I could eat everyday forever is: Tacos

Favorite thing to do on the weekend: Weekends are for family, fresh air, and movement—love spending time outside with my husband and daughter.

Do you have a second professional life?:  I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and the coordinator of behavioral health for a school district.
