Pura Vida Cuisine: We will gather together in a gorgeous dining room overlooking acres of the coffee plantation, along with views of Costa Rica’s central valley. The restaurant serves local vegetarian fare, chicken and fresh seafood.
There is a bar and juice bar to order wine, beer, coffee and juice smoothies throughout the day to purchase on your own!
We will head to town to also eat at local restaurants!
Pura Vida Property: a note from Pura Vida: Our grounds hold dozens of species of orchids and have been certified as a conservation property by the National Ministry of Environmental Ecology.
Our focus is on health and healing. So naturally, we’ve cultivated a Holistic Garden on our property. Many of the culinary and medicinal herbs used to flavor your meals, have their roots in our peaceful, beautiful Holistic Garden.
On site wellness center: get a massage, Ayurvedic treatment, bio energetic healing, or any one of their signature spa treatments!
Hang in the heated pool and hot tub and enjoy the magical views!
Excursions and Eco Tours : visit tropical birds and wildlife, majestic cloud-capped forests, flowing rivers, waterfalls, hot springs, tropical rainforests and coffee plantations. Go white water rafting, zip lining, the beach or head into town!

These mountainside rooms offer plenty of space and comfort. A little bigger than the A Frame and Vista rooms, Kiva units have private balconies overlooking the Central Valley and tropical gardens and greenery. Travel Logistics & Details
Air: Arrive/Depart San Jose (SJO) Airport. Pura Vida Resort will arrange for your transportation to and from the San Jose Airport by a reputable and trusted driver from the resort. Schedule your arrival into SJO on Saturday March 16 by 2pm and you can schedule your departure for any time on Thursday March 21. If you wish to come to the resort early or stay later than the scheduled retreat, Pura Vida will offer 10% off your accommodation and you can set that up with Shannon.
Arrival: Saturday, March 16, 2024 check in anytime. (resort will pick you up anytime at the airport!) Welcome class begins at 7p
Depart: Thursday, March 21, 2024 resort will take you to the airport anytime!
If you wish to come to the resort early or stay later than the scheduled retreat, the resort will offer your accommodation at a discounted rate and you can set that up with Shannon.

deposit and payments
A $500 deposit will be required per accommodation upon making your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and will be applied to your package.
50% of the retreat must be paid by 11/16/23 and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The total retreat balance must be paid in full by 2/1/24.
The full cost of the retreat becomes non-refundable and non-transferable 30 days (2/16/24) prior to the start of the retreat.
Please note: Single rooms are limited and we recommend that if you choose a room with double occupancy that you preselect your roommate before calling to make your reservation. we will not be choosing roommates!
