Do you have a second professional life?: Owner of TYR, I have my degree in Architecture and Design, so before opening TYR I worked for a few firms! I still do design work though!

What song do you put on repeat: can’t go wrong with anything from Glass Animals, Alt J, Steve Miller, Tom Petty, Kid Cudi, Post Malone, Drake, Kendrick Lamar….. and Justin Bieber (I know I know…)

When I was little I wanted to be: an architect and a professional roller skater!

Favorite thing to do on the weekend: getting in the Jeep and driving around with no plans of where we’re headed with my boys.

I love: snuggling my baby boy and my husband

MICHELE DUNLOW

Nickname: Slugbait (my dad called me that) otherwise I answer to Michele, 1l, M, and hey you!

Hometown: currently Lancaster CA. I was a military spouse for 21 years so I’ve lived in a LOT of other places. 

# of years teaching: 1st year teaching yoga!  Yikes :)

Trainings/Certifications:  Level 1, from Amazing Yoga 

Do you have a second professional life?: yep, My day job is at Northrop Grumman.

When I was little I wanted to be: an Egyptologist. I couldn’t stand the thought of being inside all day.

Favorite thing to do on the weekend: go adventuring with my guy, Rich. 

I love: yoga!  It keeps me sane. 

When I wake up I: (weekdays) let the dog outside, make n’oatmeal, and get ready for work.  On weekends, I let the dog out, have some tea, and flip through one of my favorite magazines.  I love getting up early and having some time to be quiet.

STEPHANIE DEYTRIKH

Nickname: Stessi

Hometown: Originally from Lincoln, U.K. but with my husbands job taking us all over the world, I can call anywhere home.

# of years teaching: Officially 12 yrs but I've had a on/off relationship with yoga and only feel like I've fully committed in the last 2 yrs.

Trainings/Certifications: 300Hr YT with YogaBody and Reform UK. I have a Batchelors Degree in Sport Science and Masters in Education.

Do you have a second professional life?: Sports and Exercise Therapist and Studio Fitness Trainer. I was enlisted with the Royal Air Force for 10yrs where I served as a Physical Training Instructor. I love continued professional development and I'm constantly trying to add strings to my bow.

What song do you put on repeat: Anything that makes me want to dance in the kitchen with my kids. They love 90s Hip Hop/RnB (clean versions) Mumford & Sons as it was the first gig I went to with my husband, but I do belt out Rhianna and Dua Lipa in the car when I'm on my own.

When I was little I wanted to be: A vet, a spy and a fashion designer...I'm allergic to cat hair, I'm rubbish at being discreet and I can't sew...Had to re-think life choices.

Something I could eat everyday forever is: Mango...boring I know. I'm one of those annoying vegans (hashtag eye roll) so choice is limited, waiting on the day In & Out do a decent vegan burger!

Favorite thing to do on the weekend: Beach days and Film nights

I love: Coffee, wine, hiking and obviously Yoga. But most of all my constants at home. My 3 little men and the boss man (I let him think that anyway)

I love: My family. 

When I wake up I: I don’t think I do anything consistently when I get up. Sometimes it’s a quick snuggle with the husband. Other times it’s getting out of bed quickly to start the day. Sometimes it’s a scab of the news. And, on the weekends, it’s usually being awoken by my daughter well before her brother is awake. She really is the best alarm clock.

Do you have a second professional life?: nope I quit my 40hr a week job 3 1/2 years ago and became a full time yoga instructor, was certified in barre in 2017

What song do you put on repeat: Shakira or Michael Buble are what I like to sing to, Coldplay as background music at home

When I was little I wanted to be: no clue never had a passion until I found yoga
