Danielle found yoga almost 10 years ago in college when anxiety and stress were at the highest they had ever been for her. She fell in love with how the practice freed her mind and as well as how it made her feel about her body and it's capabilities. You could say her "Ah-Ha" moment happened after her first power flow class. Although she tried many types of yoga through the years, power flow was the one that really spoke to her heart. She is on the path to becoming a Tier One Certified Baptiste Teacher and has been consistently teaching for the past year. She loves how this practice can make anyone with any body type feel strong, capable and beautiful. Her goal through teaching is to share that feeling with anyone who practices with her.

As a military wife and transplant from the UK, it wasn’t until Clare moved to California that she truly fell in love with yoga and finding The Yoga Roots at a local festival led her to practicing at the studio on a regular basis. She was amazed at the balance and strength yoga had given her both mentally and physically. It surprised Clare that she could get her blood pumping and an endorphin buzz from yoga, having always been an active person who loves going to the gym and partaking in sports such as snowboarding. Clare decided to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training, so that she can share her love of yoga with her new community. Clare wants to show the public how yoga can complement other sports as a cross training activity to prevent injury and improve performance. Clare likes to build a practice that improves on strength and flexibility as well as making students more aware of their own body’s capabilities. She believes that everybody can benefit from practicing yoga and endeavours to make her classes engaging and fun for all.

Kevin is a former athlete who became a coach and certified physical trainer shortly after college. In 2010, he followed a friend into a yoga studio and the practice awakened him. The physical demands of yoga were rigorous to any level of fitness while still being sustainable through all stages of life. Kevin sought to diversify and enliven this authentic yoga experience by visiting yoga studios, wherever he traveled, and whenever he could. Eventually Kevin decided the best thing he could do for his own practice was to become a teacher himself and help others become yogis in a collective effort to build a stronger yoga community. Kevin’s instruction focuses on exploration of alignment and core stability with complements of breath to guide the journey of the flow.
His teaching schedule includes classes, private lessons, and workshops.
