Josie began practicing yoga many years ago in college at a time when her life felt chaotic and felt a lack of connection with her own body. Incredibly, within a few weeks of practicing regularly, Josie felt something deep within herself shift. The practice lead her to feel confident and proud of her body’s capabilities! The profound feelings of strength and tranquility experienced, motivated her to share the practice with others. After graduating college, she spent a summer living and practicing yoga daily in Costa Rica. Then later moved to Austin, Texas to get her RYT 200 hour training in vinyasa flow under the lovely and brilliant teacher Libby Cox. Josie’s classes are energetic and lighthearted focusing on alignment, upper body strengthening and core work. Her favorite thing about teaching is seeing students become aware of their own strength and flexibility!
